The roofer spends most of his time on roofs, so he must be agile and careful, and not afraid of heights. Its intervention is sometimes similar to a climbing course, and it is equipped as such: hook, crampons, belt and safety harness, it must be equipped to intervene safely. Skillful and courageous, he knows how to keep his balance!


  • A trade that takes place outside: 

In addition to the height, the roofer works outdoors, whatever the temperatures or almost. Obviously, in order not to endanger its safety or that of people on the ground, it does not intervene in extreme weather conditions, which would make the roof slippery in particular.

  • also provides gutters, skylights and chimney connections
  • performs calculations to define the location and installation of materials, fittings, etc and controls requirements such as the degree of slope of the roof

To do this, the roofer knows perfectly the different materials with which he works: he masters the different roofing processes, and is able to advise according to the type of building and the peculiarities of the places, or depending on the climatic conditions of the region, etc

Roof repair after bad weather and storms
